Van Clements was raised in the Monterey Bay area of California. He met Erica while attending Bethany Bible College in Santa Cruz, California and they were married in 1988. After graduating, they served as an associate pastor in Southern California. Before coming to Willamette, the Clements served their Alma Mater, as director of College Relations. Van joined the staff at

WCC in 1995 and served as the Music Pastor, and Executive Pastor before being elected as the lead pastor in August of 2008. Van &Erica have 4 children; Alyson, Claire, Samuel and Hope.

  • What is your favorite Bible verse? Psalm 119:32 “I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free.”
  • What is your favorite food? My favorite thing is a bold cup of coffee with something small, but rich and sweet! And I’m always up for a great taco!
  • What is a favorite hobby of yours? Running, reading, creating stuff on the computer, playing with my kids. And I’m always up for a round of golf!

   Joy Felt | School Administrator

Joy Felt was raised in Eugene. In 1981 Joy joined the office staff working part-time while attending the University of Oregon. In 1992 Joy joined the staff full time as Financial Controller and in 1994 began to serve as Business Administrator, and now serves as the principal of our school. Joy and Ron have been members of Willamette Christian Center for over 25 years and have three children; Tiffany, Justin and Evan. 

  • What is your favorite Bible Verse?  Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
  • What is your favorite food?  Anything Italian

Dan Grubbs | Associate Pastor

Dan was in the USAF stationed in Monterey, California when he met Sandi, his future wife. They were married in 1966 with the united goal of going to China as missionaries. Dan then finished his degree after his Air Force days were over.  He took a double degree in Bible/Theology and Social Science in 1973. After having pastored they went to Thailand in 1979. Most recently they spent several years in China teaching English and helping in a church. They have three grown children, Shawna, Sherine, and Mark. And they have 5 grandchildren.

  • What is your favorite Bible verse? My favorite bible verses are Ephesians 1:7-9 " In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ. And 2 Peter 1:3-4  "His divine power has given us everything we need for life  and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the  world  caused by evil desires."
  • What is your favorite food? A Thai Dish called Green Curry

   Brenda Randall | Pastor of Children's Workers

Brenda Randall is a native Oregonian. Raised in Medford, she met her husband Bill at WCC while attending the University of Oregon in Eug ene. In 1981, they were married and have two children, Leisha and Jason. Serving child ren and parents is not new for Brenda, she has been actively involved in some ministry capacity since the age of 12 and at WCC since 1978. In 2004, she joined the team as the Pastor of Children's Workers, a position that goes beyond being a children's pastor to leading a strong cooperative effort between staff, parents, and volunteers to minister and disciple children.

  • What is your favorite Bible Verse? Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." 
  • What is your favorite food? Anything Spicy!
  • What is a favorite hobby of yours? Hiking and gardening.

   Ranee Werder | Business Administrator 

Ranee Werder was born and raised in Eugene. She has attended WCC since 1984. Ranee met her husband Tim in 2004 and knew while building a Kid’s Musical Set together that she would marry Tim that following year. Later in 2005 Ranee and Tim also became proud parents of their 13 year old nephew Cameron. After a 26 year career in the wood products industry in the area of finance, Ranee came to join the WCC team in 2007 where she began working as the Business Administrator.

  • What is your favorite Bible verse? Proverbs 3:5,6  "Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
  • What is your favorite food? Peanut M&M’s & Diet Pepsi!!
