What is your #1 goal in life?
Your answer to that question will reveal your dominant life value. Everyone has one. It’s what we unconsciously base our decisions on. God tells us that our dominant life value is to be love. In fact, Jesus once said that of all the commands in the Bible only two are most important. Love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself.
On the weekend of June 27th, our church family will begin a six-week focus on those two commands. That’s when we will come together for 40 Days of Love. With conflict, divorce, violence, prejudice, abuse, division, and polarization around us daily, it’s obvious we all need some lessons in building healthy relationships, and that’s what 40 Days of Love is all about.
We are creating new opportunities for small group interaction on Sunday mornings, by utilizing a temporary schedule change. We will meet for our normal church service at 10:00-11:05 AM then after a 10 minute transition we will meet in small groups (by ages and stages) from 11:15 AM to NOON. Our church will go through 40 Days of Love together. Every age and stage will be in the same focus for these 40 days.
Summer Shift [a Temporary Schedule Change]
- 10:00 to 11:05 AM – Morning Worship [songs/offering/teaching]
- 11:05-11:15 AM – Fellowship/Transition time.
- 11:15 AM- NOON – Small Group Interaction Time
